Mango Pachcha is a Kannada crime drama film that released in theatres on 5 June 2026 starring Sanchith Sanjeev (debut), Kaajal Kunder and Mayur Patel in lead roles. The film opened with a very poor response across Karnataka and had limited reach in other states. It failed to create any significant buzz or advance bookings, resulting in one of the weakest openings for a Kannada film in 2026.

Worldwide, Mango Pachcha had a negligible start with almost no overseas collections. The film has struggled to find an audience and is performing very poorly at the box office, failing to recover even a small portion of its investment in the first week. It is clearly heading towards a disaster verdict.

Our Review

Mango Pachcha is a small-budget crime drama that tries to tell a story set in Mysuru but fails to make a strong impact. The film has a decent premise and some stylish moments, but the screenplay lacks depth and emotional connect.

Sanchith Sanjeev shows promise in his debut with a confident screen presence, but the supporting characters are not well developed. The direction is average, and the film feels stretched despite its short runtime.

While there are a few well-shot sequences, the overall execution is weak, and the film fails to engage the audience fully. At the box office, Mango Pachcha has been a complete disaster. It opened to negligible numbers and has shown no growth since its release. Even in Karnataka, the film is struggling to find an audience.

With collections under ₹30 lakh in the first three days against a budget of around ₹3 crore, the film is heading towards a massive flop. The lack of strong marketing and the absence of a big star have severely affected its prospects. For a debutant like Sanchith Sanjeev, this is an unfortunate start.

The film may find some audience on OTT, but theatrically it has failed to make any mark. Mango Pachcha stands as another example of how even well-intentioned small films struggle without proper content and promotion in today’s competitive market.
