Index
The movie kicked off at the Indian box office with a steady start, pulling in around 0.30 crore on its opening day. That’s decent for a Gujarati film, considering the competition from big releases during Christmas. It saw good walk-ins in Gujarat cities like Ahmedabad and Surat, where local audiences love stories about NRI life and comedy. The word-of-mouth is building, with people talking about the funny moments and emotional bits. Overall, it’s a good launch that shows promise for small-budget films in regional cinema.
Worldwide, Vande Bharat Via USA opened with modest numbers, adding some overseas gross from USA and Canada where Gujarati communities are strong. The global appeal comes from its theme of immigration and dreams, resonating with NRIs. It didn’t break records, but the initial buzz suggests it could grow if positive reviews spread. For Gujarati movies, this kind of start means it’s in the race to become a hit without needing massive hype.
