Border 2 maintained its momentum on Day 24 with an estimated ₹1.50 crore net collection in India, benefiting from the fourth Sunday uplift. This brought the film’s 24-day India net total to ₹321.95 crore, showcasing remarkable staying power in its fourth week despite new releases in the market.
Early estimates for Day 25 suggest the Sunny Deol-led war drama will collect around ₹0.70 crore on this Monday. While this marks a typical weekday dip of about 53% from the previous day, the numbers reflect solid word-of-mouth support in mass centres and single-screen theatres across North and East India.
The overall trend for Border 2 remains encouraging. After a blockbuster opening weekend driven by Republic Day celebrations, the film has shown consistent holds, proving its appeal as a patriotic entertainer. With limited competition, it continues to draw audiences in smaller towns and tier-2/3 cities.

About Border 2 and Future Prediction
Border 2, directed by Anurag Singh, serves as a spiritual sequel to the 1997 classic Border. The film stars Sunny Deol reprising his iconic role alongside Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. It expands the narrative of the 1971 Indo-Pak war to include perspectives from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, delivering a blend of intense action, emotional depth, and strong patriotic themes.
The movie’s success stems from its well-crafted storytelling and powerful performances, particularly Sunny Deol’s commanding screen presence that resonates with audiences across demographics. Strong word-of-mouth has helped it sustain collections in mass markets even as it enters the later weeks, a rare feat for a war drama of this scale.
Looking ahead, Border 2 is expected to cross the ₹330 crore mark in India net by the end of its run. With favourable holds in single screens and potential for further growth in dubbed versions, the film is on track for a lifetime India net of ₹340-350 crore. This positions it as a solid commercial success, comfortably recovering its ₹175 crore budget and delivering strong returns for the producers.
