About Zootopia 2 and Future Prediction

Zootopia 2 has once again proved that good family animation still pulls crowds, especially when the word of mouth is strong. Shraddha Kapoor’s Hindi dubbing definitely helped in our market, and the film did much better in multiplexes than single screens. The weekend growth was healthy, and even with the Monday drop, the trend looks stable.

If the film holds well on weekdays and gets another push next weekend, it can comfortably cross ₹40–50 crore in India. Worldwide, it’s already a monster hit with that record-breaking $556 million global opening, and analysts are now talking about $1.8–2 billion lifetime, which would make it one of the biggest animated films ever.
