Master Mind is a well-intentioned thriller that successfully bridges the gap between traditional family drama and modern suspense. Sanjay Goradia, as Bachu Kaka, anchors the film with his seasoned performance, portraying the frustration and love of a traditional father with immense grace. Nadeem Wadhwania provides a solid foil as the son, Vijay, representing the ambitious, tech-savvy youth of today.

The “Hard Work vs. Smart Work” theme is something almost every Indian household can relate to, and the thriller element—added in the second half—prevents it from becoming a preachy sermon.
