Facts and Behind the Scenes
Will is the debut directorial of S. Sivaraman, who also wrote the script, drawing from real-life family disputes over wills that he researched for authenticity. The team shot mostly in real court like sets and family homes to keep that genuine feel, wrapping up early in 2025 after some intense rehearsal sessions for the legal dialogues. Not many know that Vikranth took a special appearance role to support the newcomer director, adding his experience from action films to the cop character, which fans are excited about.
Another cool fact is the film explores the legal side of wills in India, inspired by actual cases where families fought over inheritances, something most people don’t think about till it happens. The teaser dropped in May 2025 on YouTube, getting decent views without big promotions, and insiders say the budget was kept low by using fresh talent like Alekhya alongside stars. Shooting included emotional night scenes for the family reveals, building a close crew vibe that’s showing in the buzz.
