Paathirathri Movie Worldwide Collection, Budget and OTT|Hit/Flop?

The film opened modestly, collecting approximately ₹0.25 crore net in India. Occupancy was limited and shows in many centres started with cautious footfall.

On its second day the collection rose to around ₹0.32 crore. While still low in overall volume, there was a slight uptick in audience turnout at evening shows in key urban centres.

The third day saw collections of about ₹0.46 crore, indicating a more noticeable growth in interest. Some positive word-of-mouth helped lift occupancy in multiplex locations.

On day four the film earned roughly ₹0.29 crore — a drop from day three. The weekday effect began to hit, and many single-screen venues showed thinning crowds.

Day five brought approximately ₹0.14 crore. The collection fell significantly and occupancy declined to low double-digits in many areas.

With about ₹0.12 crore collected, the trend of decline continued. Evening shows held better than matinées, but the overall momentum was weak.

Around ₹0.08 crore was recorded, showing the film’s run was entering a subdued phase. Screen counts likely began shrinking as exhibitors shifted to newer releases.

On day eight the collection fell further to about ₹0.02 crore, indicating minimal audience attendance and marking the tail-end of the theatrical window.

On day 9 yesterday, the film earned around ₹0.15 crore gross in India, and worldwide same since mostly local. Occupancy was about 15%, with better crowds on Saturday but still not packed. It’s a thriller with mixed reviews, holding in some screens thanks to the cast, but total so far is low at under 2 Cr, might not go much further.

The movie collected ₹0.10 and theatre occupancy 10% with empty seats in most shows.
